Paintshop Studio & Gallery are proud to host a brand-new joint exhibition 'Locals Only', from artists Mark Ward and Ricky Also. The exhibition celebrates cultural life on the South Coast and the creative process, featuring a collection of new, original art pieces and limited-edition prints.
 
This will be our final show in our Kingland Crescent gallery before we relocate, and we’ve love you to join us at this opening event on Friday 24th March from 6pm.

Drinks will be supplied by local brewers The Way Outback and Music by DJ’s Cursa and L Roy.
 
The exhibition will run until Friday 14th April at which point, we will wish farewell to Kingland and the gallery will move online. Certain artworks from upcoming and established artists will continue to be on display at our new studio space – we’ll come back to you soon with more info on that one. But for now, we hope to see you next Friday!

Ricky Also is an artist and Creative Director of Paintshop Studio & Gallery. His love of typography, colour and layout come from his passion with graffiti art and graphic design. He creates structured interlocking artworks with a unique sense of movement and rhythm.

Mark Ward is an illustrator, animator and artist newly arrived in Bournemouth. He’s been fascinated by the cool kids in California since he was a kid himself, Mark weaves his bold and vibrant work full of playful humour and surreal sun-kissed visuals, delivering eye-popping results to a whole spectrum of projects.
