Pier's top five places to see Santa in Dorset
When it comes to Christmas, Dorset really knows how to bring the festive cheer. But let’s be honest, it wouldn’t be the holidays without a visit from the big-bearded man. Christmas hats off to Santa (or Father Christmas to some) - it’s still a mystery how he manages to tour the country and deliver all those presents in one night.
We did some digging, and one of his elves let slip where he’ll be this year. Here are our top five spots to catch everyone’s favourite man in red before he heads back to The North Pole.
Pier Presents: Winter at the Cross
Yes, you read that right, we’ve managed to bag the man himself for our very own Christmas market. We had to pull some strings for this one, we tell you!
Stewarts: Santa’s Winter Wonderland
With a click of his boots, Santa then jets off to Stewarts Garden Centre. Kids can meet Father Christmas, but adults, don’t worry - you’re never too old to catch the magic too.
The Big Christmas Weekend
As if Lyme Regis wasn’t enchanting enough, Santa will be donning his finest red suit and making the rounds through this festive seaside town.
A Kingston Christmas
Kingston Maurward is transformed into a true winter wonderland, complete with snow, festive lights, and of course a visit from Santa himself.
The Blue Pool
Finally, follow the festive woodland trail at The Blue Pool to discover Santa waiting in his cosy grotto. The perfect way to round off your Dorset Christmas adventure.
He only visits once a year, so ho ho hurry up and catch him while he’s in town.
