Litter Free Dorset
Litter Free Dorset aims to improve the local environment by reducing waste, improving bathing water quality, and enhancing Dorset’s coastal and green spaces. With extensive experience working with local communities and businesses, they focus on collaboration to create impactful and sustainable projects. As a hosted partnership within Dorset Council, Litter Free Dorset acts as a neutral party to support larger organisations in driving positive change across Dorset. Working across Dorset, collaborating with partner organisations, town councils, volunteers, residents, and businesses, they deliver a wide range of projects and campaigns. The focus is on issues such as reuse, single-use plastic, reducing waste, and improving bathing water quality.
Throughout 2025, there are lots of exciting projects on the go, including a Nature Hub scheme in Weymouth, a water quality project in Bournemouth, and an Electrical Reuse Project which aims to close the loop on electrical waste by increasing the capture and reuse of unwanted small household electricals.
