The HealthBus
The HealthBus Trust is an award-winning charity dedicated to providing specialised healthcare to people experiencing homelessness in Bournemouth and surrounding areas. They deliver this via a mobile clinic which is used as a base for a multi-disciplinary team of doctors, specialist nurses and volunteers. The service is designed to bring healthcare directly to people living in emergency accommodation or sleeping rough.
HealthBus collaborates with other organisations to offer a complete service that boosts physical and mental health, supports addiction recovery, and helps people transition out of homelessness.
Their vision is to reduce health inequalities and develop world class expertise in homeless health through multi-disciplinary partnership work.
