We're hiring a Picture Framer for a part-time, permanent role at Artcetera. The working days are Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, with flexible hours to be determined with the successful candidate. The Picture Framer role involves mastering various techniques for mounting and framing bespoke artwork to a high standard, using specialised materials, equipment, and machinery. Primary responsibilities include understanding and establishing workshop workflows, cleaning different types of glass, mounting artwork such as embroidery, assembling frames, securing fixings for hanging, and preparing finished framed items for collection or delivery.

We're looking for a reliable and creative individual with an eye for detail, who understands the delicate nature of working with fine arts and artifacts. Previous framing experience isn't necessary as full training will be provided. However, reliability, practical skills, a willingness to work with machinery, and enthusiasm for learning while producing high-quality work are essential qualities we seek.
